MONTVALE, N.J. - A&P is helping consumers with their health-conscious choices this year, by making the decision making process, easier on the eyes. A grocery store isle can at times cause sensory overload, and so A&P has brought a new, visual, labeling system to its shelves. With its Live Better Wellness Factor, searching for the best choices that align with a specific diet have just gotten a bit simpler.

The new innovation launched on Friday, "... is a labeling system that gives you the vital information you need to deal with health issues like diabetes, heart health, weight management, prevention and wellness. Look for these icons on tags throughout the store to give you the guidance on what you need to start making better food choices now," according to promotional materials. The tags are color-coded, alerting the eye to four categories - Sugar Smart, Heart Healthy, Weight Control and Prevention. The new system is part of A&P’s Live Better Wellness Club where members can join for a fee to become eligible for more of the store's programs and savings.

www.apfreshonline.com
