<p>Western Growers have announced that U.S. Sen. Debbie Stabenow (D-MI), Chair of the U.S. Senate Agriculture, Nutrition and Forestry Committee, is travelling to Modesto, California for a February 24, 2012 luncheon. The luncheon will be held from noon until 2 p.m. at Dewz Restaurant in Modesto, according to recent event materials.<hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="invisible minimal-padding"> Ms. Stabenow is an advocate and supporter of the specialty crop industry and has been an instrumental person in the industry, helping to secure the Specialty Crop Title in the 2008 Farm Bill. The Senator also continues to be a voice for the industry on Capitol Hill. Rep. Dennis Cardoza, Rep.
