Hy-Vee's New Chairman and CEO

<p><strong>West Des Moines, IA</strong><hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="invisible minimal-padding"> Hy-Vee, Inc. is announcing a new Chairman and CEO. Hy-Vee's Board of Directors has elected Randy Edeker, 49, to succeed Ric Jurgens. Mr. Jurgens will retire on June 1st with an amazing 43-year career with the Iowa-based supermarket chain, under his belt. Mr. Edeker most recently served as President and Chief Operating Officer, according to a recent press release. He will now hold the offices of Chairman, CEO and President of Hy-Vee, Inc.<hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="invisible minimal-padding"> Randy Edeker, states, "I have been truly blessed to be allowed to assume this role, leading the most incredible group of dedicated, hard-working people." He is a prominent figure in industry circles, having served on several national boards and advisory councils and as co-chair of the Associate Member Board for the Food Marketing Institute.
