Center for Produce Safety's 2012 Produce Research Symposium

<p><strong>Davis, CA</strong><hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="invisible minimal-padding"> The Center for Produce Safety's 2012 Produce Research Symposium is on the horizon. The event will be kicking off with a welcome from Stephen Patricio, Westside Produce, Center for Produce Safety, Advisory Chair on June 27, 2012. The symposium will include a host of industry related topics and 16 research projects completed by scientists from nine institutions in 11 states, according to a press release. Additionally, 36 projects will be featured in a poster session at the symposium. These projects review methods, objectives, results to date, and highlight their importance to industry.<hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="invisible minimal-padding"> Topics for the symposium include Food Safety Rationale with Tim York of the Markon Cooperative, Good Agricultural Practices featuring a host of industry members as speakers as well as panel members with Bob Whitaker of the Produce Marketing Association providing the role of Moderator. Wash Water and Process Control will also be addressed.
