Giumarra Wenatchee Prepares for the Apricot Season

<p><strong>Wenatchee, WA</strong><hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="invisible minimal-padding"><hr class="invisible minimal-padding">Giumarra Wenatchee is focusing its marketing efforts on the upcoming Washington apricot season. Jason Bushong, Sales Manager at Giumarra Wenatchee, states, “Good early spring weather has produced some exceptional quality apricots for this summer’s harvest. Fruit size is optimal for our retail and club store programs this season.”<hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="invisible minimal-padding"><hr class="invisible minimal-padding">Rival and Perfection varieties will be offered both conventional and organic, and harvest for the apricots will begin around July 20 and continue for four weeks. The apricots will be packed in three-pound clamshells, Panta-Pak trays, and volume fill display boxes, and will be available in both the East and West coasts.<hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="invisible minimal-padding"><hr class="invisible minimal-padding">Crop volume has increased since last season for both conventional and organic fruit.
