Sun-Maid Celebrates 100 years

<p><strong>Kingsburg, CA</strong><hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="invisible minimal-padding">Sun-Maid is celebrating its 100th Anniversary at the California State Fair beginning July 12-19 in Sacramento. The Cal Expo Center’s Building 3 will be completely filled as Sun-Maid hosts raisin and dried fruit cooking demonstrations and family-friendly activities.<hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="invisible minimal-padding">The brand’s Sun-Maid Girl icon, who recently launched her own Facebook page, will pose with visitors for photo opportunities. The fair’s interactive exhibit will describe Sun-Maid’s colorful history, complete with a three-dimensional version of Sun-Maid’s recently released 100th Anniversary eBook, Sun-Maid Raisins &amp; Dried Fruits: Serving American Families &amp; the World Since 1912. The eBook is available for free download at www.sunmaid.com/book. The exhibit “Sun-Maid: Celebrating 100 Years of Fruit &amp; Sunshine” will include two original paintings and a chromo lithograph created by artist Norman Rockwell for Sun-Maid in the 1920’s.<hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="invisible minimal-padding">The Sun-Maid Grower’s Store will be transported to Building 3 where Sun-Maid products and merchandise will be available, along with freshly baked raisin oatmeal cookies.
