<p><strong>Houston, TX</strong><hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="invisible minimal-padding"><hr class="invisible minimal-padding"> Sysco Corporation has named Ajoy H. Karna Senior Vice President of Finance for the corporation. The position is effective immediately.<hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="invisible minimal-padding"><hr class="invisible minimal-padding"> Mr. Karna has served in several financial leadership positions for the past eleven years at PepsiCo and its Frito Lay subsidiary. He was Senior Vice President and Vice President of Finance at Frito Lay. Ajoy was responsible for field finance, national customer finance, foodservice finance, brand finance, pricing and selling/G&A, according to a press release. Between 2006 and 2009, he also was senior Vice President-Mergers and Acquisitions, in PepsiCo's corporate group.<hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="invisible minimal-padding"><hr class="invisible minimal-padding"> "We are pleased that Ajoy will be joining the Sysco team," said Chris Kreidler, Sysco's Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer.
