<p>The industry bids farewell to one of its own. Sarkis V. Sarabian, former President of Sarabian Farms in Sanger California, has passed away. Mr. Sarabian passed away on November 30, 2012.<hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="invisible minimal-padding">Mr. Sarabian spent his life involved with agriculture through the growing of crops or providing others with consultation. The industry veteran volunteered for a wide variety of local groups that included the California Grape and Tree Fruit League, the American Society of Ag Consultants, Holy Trinity Armenian Church, The American Red Cross, and Armenian Technology Group (ATG). Mr. Sarabian achieved recognition in all these groups for his strong commitment and was also named Agriculturalist of the year in 2007 for Fresno County.<hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="invisible minimal-padding">Mr. Sarkis is survived by his wife, Virginia; their sons, Michael, David, and Charles and their wives, Betty, Patti, and Lori. In addition, he had seven grandchildren.<hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="invisible minimal-padding">We extend our deepest condolences to his friends and family.</p><hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="invisible minimal-padding">
