<p>Thomas “Ross” Vaccaro, Founder of Thomas Vaccaro Inc. passed away Sunday December 23, 2012 at his residence. Mr. Vaccaro founded Thomas Vaccaro, Inc. in 1949 and was a long time member of the Garden State Chapter of United Fresh Fruit &amp; Veg. Assoc. and served as President in 1983.</p><hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="invisible minimal-padding"><p>Mr. Vaccaro served in the U.S. Army during WWII where he received the European African Middle Eastern Medal, he was a Bronze Star Medal recipient and was awarded the State of NJ's Distinguished Service Medal. </p><hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="invisible minimal-padding"><p>He was a life member of the Italian Sons and Daughters of America in Hammonton and a former member V.F.W Post #1026. Mr. Vaccaro was a 17 year member of the Lions Club and was president in 1969-70. He was a member of St. Joseph H.S. Booster Club 1970-77, serving as president 1971-73. He was awarded many grateful recognition awards for his dedicated service to all the clubs he served. </p><hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="invisible minimal-padding"><p>Mr. Vaccaro is predeceased by his wife Lucy (nee Fiorentino), his parents William and Theresa, his brothers Anthony and William and his sisters Angie and Grace. Surviving are his son William and his wife Angie of Hammonton and his daughter Terry of Egg Harbor Twp. Loving grandfather of Billy and Brian Vaccaro and Edward III and Ross Costello. </p><hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="invisible minimal-padding"><p>The family suggests that donations may be made in Ross's memory to Hammonton Police Department.</p><hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="invisible minimal-padding"><p>Our hearts go out to his friends and family.</p><hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="invisible minimal-padding">
