United Supermarkets Who Are You Pink For?

<p><strong>Lubbock, TX-</strong><hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="invisible minimal-padding">By ANUK Staff<hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="invisible minimal-padding">12.4.12<hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="invisible minimal-padding">During the company's “Who Do You Pink For?” promotion this year, United Supermarkets, Market Street and Amigos store locations together raised almost $18,000 for the fight against breast cancer.<hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="invisible minimal-padding"><img src="https://cdn.andnowuknow.com/legacyWriterImages/539509_10151232481913383_825474651_n.jpg" alt="12/04/2012" /><hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="invisible minimal-padding">The funds raised during the promotion will be donated to local chapters of the American Cancer Society. For the month of October, guests were able to help raise money for the cause by purchasing pink reusable bags for $1.99 each. During the promotion $1 from each sale also went to the American Cancer Society. On the company's Facebook page guests could indicate who they “are pink for” by sharing their breast cancer story.
