<p style="text-indent:0px; line-height:12px;"><span style="font-weight:bold;">Carlisle, PA-</span><hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="invisible minimal-padding">By ANUK Staff<hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="invisible minimal-padding">2.11.13</p><hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="invisible minimal-padding"><p>Giant Food Stores announced that it will open a new location in Berks County Pennsylvania on February 27.<hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="invisible minimal-padding">The 50,000 square foot store will be open 24 hours a day seven days a week, according to the Philadelphia Business Journal.<hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="invisible minimal-padding">The location will also include an on-site gas station.<hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="invisible minimal-padding">Giant’s new location will be its seventh in Berks County and have 150 full- and part-time employees. Store manager Steve Bowlby will take the reins, with managerial experience at Giant’s Quakertown, PA store.<hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="invisible minimal-padding">The supermarket chain operates 200 stores under the Giant and Martins names, located in Pennsylvania, Maryland, Virginia, and West Virginia.
