Del Monte Fresh has announced two of four weekly winners of its “Find Your Inner Chef” online contest. Kara Adanalian, from Fresno, California and Karen Gulkin, from Greeley, Colorado get the opportunity to move on to the Cook Off Challenge event that will be held in Miami, Florida. 
Kara Adanalian won for her recipe using Del Monte® pineapple, banana, and avocado while Gulkin’s blackened range steak tacos with citrus guacamole earned her a ticket to Miami.
“I’m so excited about making it to the finals!” said Gulkin. “I can’t wait for this trip to Miami, where I know my recipe will bring the win to Colorado.”
Adanalian said, “I'm super excited to make the trip to Miami and compete for that grand prize ... a culinary boot camp would be a dream come true!"
The contest encourages consumers to participate with their own favorite recipe or by creating a new recipe using Del Monte® fresh fruits and vegetables. Daily prizes, including retail gift cards, culinary kitchen tools, and tabletop appliances may be won by participating in the online contest. Likes and tweets are used to determine the winners.
