<p>Safeway's Geoff White is making his return to produce. Previously SVP Dairy, Frozen, Deli and Starbucks he will now assume the role of SVP Produce, Floral, Dairy and Frozen.In addition, Steve Burnham has been named Vice President Retail Marketing Execution for the company's Vons Division. The recent news was revealed by undisclosed sources in manufacturing for the company.</p><hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="invisible minimal-padding"><p>As Geoff goes back to his roots in produce Steve will be responsible for managing the implementation of all merchandising priorities, displays, and sales initiatives for Von's. In his new role, Steve will also provide the link between corporate and retail operations. </p><hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="invisible minimal-padding"><p>In 1989, Steve joined Safeway gaining expertise in both Corporate and Retail positions. His experience working in Corporate Merchandising will be greatly benefit his new position and the company. </p><hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="invisible minimal-padding"><p>During a major shift in Safeway's senior management about two years ago, Geoff White was named Senior Vice President of Dairy, Refrigerated, Frozen and Deli, and Steve Burnham was promoted to Senior VP of Produce.<hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="invisible minimal-padding">Congrats to both of these industry leaders and welcome back to produce, Geoff! </p><hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="invisible minimal-padding">
