Walmart Holds Off On US Grocery Delivery Expansion

<p>Walmart has revealed that it has no current plans to expand its online grocery delivery in the U.S. beyond a test in California. The retail giant attributes this decision to the belief that the company is not yet convinced there is sufficient demand for online grocery delivery, according to a report in Reuters.<hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="invisible minimal-padding">The publication reported earlier this week that Amazon.com is planning to introduce its AmazonFresh online grocery business in California starting with Los Angeles as early as this week and the San Francisco Bay Area later this year. The Asda unit of Wal-Mart is the second-largest grocery delivery business in the United Kingdom.
