Sysco Corporation Names Scott Charlton Senior Vice President for Distribution Services

<p>The Sysco Corporation is welcoming Scott Charlton to the company as Senior Vice President for Distribution Services. He replaces Fred Lankford, who is retiring after 41 years with Sysco. "As we thankFred Lankford for his contributions to Sysco's success throughout the years, we welcome Scott and the capabilities he brings to our team to ensure our warehouse and distribution services support the goal of being our customers' most valued and trusted business partner."<hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="invisible minimal-padding">Charlton brings six years as Executive Vice President at C&amp;S Wholesale Grocers, to his new role, where he was instrumental in leading and engaging a team that implemented numerous warehouse efficiencies resulting in significant operating expense reductions and new revenue opportunities, according to a press release.<hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="invisible minimal-padding">Before his time with C&amp;S, Charlton spent more than two decades at Publix Super Markets, Inc., in distribution, manufacturing, general management and quality assurance roles.
