Limoneira has announced that President and CEO Harold Edwards has been named recipient of Sustainability Award from Captain Planet Foundation, according to a press release.
“The Captain Planet Foundation is internationally recognized for their outstanding work providing the next generation of stewards an active understanding and love for the natural world in which they live,” said Edwards. “I’m thrilled that they have acknowledged Limoneira’s extensive efforts on the stewardship and sustainability front.”
As the largest producer of lemons and avocados in the U.S., Limoneira is proud of its efforts to create a sustainable business, advocating that it is incredibly important that the highest level of quality be maintained at all times.
