C.H. Robinson has been named the #1 workplace of choice on the Minneapolis/St.Paul Business Journal’s 15th annual Best Places to Work list. This accomplishment marks the 12th year that C.H. Robinson has been recognized on the list, the most for any company in Minnesota.
“Being named the number one Best Place to Work is an incredible achievement and one that couldn’t have been attained without the great work of our employees,” said Angie Freeman, Vice President of Human Resources at C.H. Robinson. “Our team-oriented, positive, and performance-driven culture is the foundation of our success and our track record as an industry leader.”
Each year, the Business Journal and its research partner Quantum Workplace, conduct a survey where employees are asked to rate their company on a variety of topics, including work environment, people practices, and personal growth and development. The Best Places to Work awards are the Twin Cities’ longest-running recognition program for employers who create and maintain an engaging work environment.
C.H. Robinson also created 145 new jobs in Minnesota since September 2012, according to a press release. Currently, the company employs over 1,650 employees in Minnesota and has over 80 job openings in the state for positions in sales, information technology, account management, and operations.
