Market Fresh Produce has promoted Tyler Phipps to the newly created position of Director of Field Operations. This important role will increase overall supply efficiencies which will drive costs out of the supply chain.
“Tyler has developed a broad understanding of every category we offer;
starting from the ground, all the way up to the consumer making the buying
decision at store level”, stated Mike Kemp, Senior Director of Business
Development. “His new role will allow him even more time to be in the
fields working directly with the grower so that Market Fresh can keep its
customers even more informed than we do today."
Tyler began his career with Market Fresh six years ago as a category manager and was
promoted to the role of National Procurement Director in February of 2011.
Market Fresh offers a full line procurement and category management in Tomatoes, Potatoes, Onions, Sweet Potatoes, Peppers, Avocadoes, and Kiwi, through their national network of distribution centers, and their Vendor Managed Inventory program.
