<p> Ready Pac Foods recently invited Chapman University graduate students to take them on a personalized guided tour throughout the company’s Irwindale, CA processing plant. The tour was followed by “Produce 101,” an educational session that highlighted the inter-workings of Ready Pac’s detailed sourcing and processing techniques, according to a press release.<hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="invisible minimal-padding"> Dr. Anuradha Prakash, Professor and Program Director of Food Science at the university, initiated the tour to help his students further understand the Produce Business. “You can imagine how valuable such tours are for students,” said Dr. Prakash. “They are so fortunate to hear from a company like Ready Pac which is renowned in the industry.”<hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="invisible minimal-padding"> Upon completion of the tour, students were issued certificates to demonstrate their accomplishment of the program.
