Neil Galone, Booth Ranches’ Vice President of Marketing, will be retiring at the end of February. Galone was instrumental in helping the company develop its current sales effort in terms of both staff and customers, said Dave Smith, General Manager. His attitude and experience will be greatly missed in the daily operations.

“It has been a pleasure to represent Booth these last six years,” said Galone. “They are committed to growing and packing the best California has to offer.”

A 37-year industry veteran, Galone previously worked for Diamond Fruit Growers, Snokist Growers, A. Duda and Sons, and Sunkist Growers, according to a press release. He is a past President of Florida Citrus Packers and has also held board and committee positions with Gulf Citrus Growers Association, Indian River Citrus League, Washington State Fruit Commission, Pear Bureau Northwest and United Fresh.

“I am honored to have represented growers dedicated to delivering healthy product to the consumers,” continued Galone. “It has been a rewarding career and allowed me to make friends and acquaintances across North America and around the world. I am looking forward to this next phase of my life, spending more time with family.”

Enjoy your retirement, Neil, and thank you for all that you have done in the industry!
