<p>California Giant Berry Farms is sponsoring a new kids club for the Santa Cruz Warriors. The Santa Cruz Warriors is the D-League basketball team for the Golden State Warriors.<hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="invisible minimal-padding"><img src="https://cdn.andnowuknow.com/legacyWriterImages/calgiant031214bdy1.jpg" alt="cropped_Image_031014" /><hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="invisible minimal-padding">Cal Giant berries have been named the official fruit of the SC Warriors, a spokesperson for the company tells AndNowUKnow. The new kids club has a membership that is increasing every day due to the players coming out and hosting fitness clinics for children. At the end of each clinic, kids line up to receive a clamshell of fresh berries.<hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="invisible minimal-padding"><img src="https://cdn.andnowuknow.com/legacyWriterImages/calgiant031214bdy2.jpg" alt="cropped_Image_031014" /><hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="invisible minimal-padding">"Each month players spend court time with local kids aged 5-12 sharing basketball skills, but more importantly mentoring them on how to enjoy exercise and being active. They all sit down at the end of each skills clinic and enjoy our berries as a replenishing snack," said Cindy Jewell, Director of Marketing for California Giant Berry Farms.
