ORLANDO, FL – Friends throughout the industry are preparing to flock to Florida and forget the winter blues with a few days of sun. As Southern Exposure approaches, the Southeast Produce Council (SEPC) is looking to tackle some key industry interests with its latest event, as demonstrated through its educational workshops.
SEPC has tapped author and food trend specialist David Sax as an educational speaker for its third workshop. Bringing his food and business expertise to the table of SEPC and Southern Exposure, David is looking to break down just how trends occur for attendees, and illuminate on what significance they hold.
“People tend to look at food trends from quick hit things they might hear about,” David tells me. “What I want people to understand is the deeper forces that help create and shape trends.”
David will also treat attendees to insights as to how food trends can last longer than a flash, and create long-lasting impact on our industry. David’s workshop will occur on Friday, March 10, during the event.
A noted author, David has written soon-to-be three books on consumer shifts and food. His writing has earned him such accolades as a James Beard Award for writing and literature.
Going to SEPC’s Southern Exposure? Make sure to catch David, and learn more from his research and observations, during his workshop. See you at the event!
