WATSONVILLE, CA – Combining months of analysis, writing, and editing, with years of berry-growing expertise, California Giant Berry Farms has published a collection of the company’s favorite collection of stories and recipes in its Farm, Family & Food cookbook.

The 90-page book contains more than 30 recipes illustrated with full-color photography.

Cindy Jewell, VP of Marketing, California Giant“This has truly been a labor of love pulling stories, recipes, and photography together to capture some of the family behind our brand,” said Cindy Jewell, VP of Marketing, in a company press release. “We are all so proud of the finished piece and have received many thanks already from our favorite shoppers who have received this surprise in their mailboxes across the country.”

The book is the product of months of analysis—with the most favorited, clicked-on, and downloaded recipes from www.calgiant.com throughout 2016 being selected and supplemented with stories and photography, in part as a way to give thanks to the company’s most loyal consumers. These consumers continually assist California Giant, engaging with the brand several times a year, the company says. Consumers then are able to provide the company with insights into their shopping behavior and preferences, allowing the company’s marketing team to improve its communications and the direction of the company’s recipe development, as well as its offerings to build purchases and consumer trust.

Farm, Family & Food Cookbook

All proceeds from the sale of Farm, Family & Food will support the California Giant Foundation in its continued efforts to provide kids with greater access to fresh produce through the Salad Bars to Schools initiative and other children’s’ nutrition programs, both locally and nationally.

The book is available through the company's website and at lulu.com
