MIAMI, FL - Who needs diamonds when you can have green gold—avocados, that is. Fresh Direction is highlighting the love of this consumer category with new branding for its Luv brand lineup of tropical avocados, and the introduction of the Carla variety to its portfolio.
“The ‘Luv’ Brand is a movement that we are proud to bring to retailers as we celebrate a way of life filled with joy, family, and friendship with our communities, partnerships, and consumers through the passion that we all share for avocados,” said Sabrina Castillo, Chief Administrative Officer.
Just in time for Super Bowl Sunday, the new branding will feature an eye-catching, heart-shaped PLU sticker in a bright Caribbean blue color, representing the fruit's tropical origins, according to a press release. Contrasted against the dark emerald skin of the company’s new distinctive, round Carla avocados, there’s no way shoppers will be able to resist adding them to their baskets.
Known for its buttery texture and fresh flavor, Carla will be available for a limited time with shipments from February 2021 to April 2021. The avocado variety will be offered in sizes including: 12, 14, 16, 18, 20, 24, and 26/28’s.
