INDIANAPOLIS, IN - Welcoming a new team member is always an exciting experience, especially if that new member brings a wealth of expertise sure to uplift any organization. The Produce Moms® (TPM) recently tapped veteran producer Kristen Woolley Mehne to join the TPM Team, serving as Executive Producer of The Produce Moms Podcast and Video Channel.
“No matter who you are, including the farming community, no one has an easy or straight path to the top. Hopefully, hearing about these life experiences will help listeners do one of two things: inspire you or make you laugh. I hope to do both!” said Mehne of her new role. “I am grateful for this opportunity as it will allow me to continue my passion to tell inspiring stories about people from all walks of life. The topic of fruits and vegetables has no boundaries when it comes to relevant and inspirational content creation.”
TPM’s newest team member brings a variety of impressive portfolio experience, including working with The TODAY Show, ESPN, Disney, Yahoo, as well as podcast production for NBC Sports “On Her Turf” during the Tokyo Olympics and Blue Wire Podcast’s show “Gold Medal Loser” featuring Olympian Lolo Jones.
“I’m really excited to announce that we have brought Kristen Woolley Mehne on as the newest member of the team,” said Lori Taylor, Founder and Chief Executive Officer. “Kristen is a great fit to step into the role of The Produce Moms’ Executive Producer and lead the podcast into its next generation. We’re excited to launch video content with the podcast, and with Kristen’s expertise and connections, we plan to level up our guest talent placement to include notable people outside of the agriculture supply chain. I believe the time is right for this growth, and I am overjoyed to bring her on board!”
Mehne is also an Emmy, Webby, and Telly award-winning producer and content creator, as a press release noted, with extensive experience on various platforms including broadcast, streaming, digital, social, podcast, and film.
New episodes of the podcast with Mehne are expected to launch on Wednesday, August 31, which marks Taylor’s seven-year anniversary of owning TPM.
“The mission of The Produce Moms is to get more fruits and vegetables on every table,” commented Taylor. “I believe that Kristen’s experience producing award-winning network shows with global audiences puts her in the unique position of expanding the message of TPM and the produce industry to millions of people worldwide.”
Congrats to Kristen Woolley Mehne on this exciting new role!
