LOS ANGELES, CA - Pacific Trellis Fruit®/Dulcinea Farms® is welcoming nearly 65 years of experience to its leadership team with the appointment of several industry vets. Matt Tanner, Evangelina Kaudze, and Shawn Young have joined the importer, grower, and marketer of premium fresh fruit, providing key expertise across sales, food safety, and transportation.
Bringing nearly 30 years of produce industry experience, Tanner joins the team as the company’s newest Senior Sales Executive. Tanner has held various sales and sales leadership roles throughout his career. Most recently, he was the Vice President of Sales at Sol Group Marketing. Tanner is a California native, receiving his degree from University of California, Davis in Agricultural Economics.
Tanner will be bringing his fresh produce knowledge with him to Florida, where he will be based.
Kaudze is another vet in the fresh produce industry.
According to the release, Kaudze joins Pacific Trellis Fruit as Food Safety and Compliance Manager. She brings over 15 years of experience in the produce industry, as she has extensive experience in food safety management and program development. Kaudze comes to Pacific Trellis Fruit from ValleyFresh Global. In her new role, Kaudze will be based in Los Angeles, California.
Pacific Trellis also appointed Young as a Manager within its ranks—Transportation Manager, in fact.
Young will also be joining the company, boosting its transportation division. He brings a wealth of experience as he has spent over the past 20 years in logistics and operations. Young was most recently with Martori Farm’s transportation team. Prior to his time at Martori, Young had worked for Sol Group and Del Monte in a variety of transportation and operations management positions. Young will be based in Arizona in his latest role.
