SANTA PAULA, CA - Calavo Growers is seeking growth for its Calavo Prepared division, and that comes in the form of a newly appointed leader. The avocado expert has hired Andy Foster as Vice President, Sales – National Accounts, tapping into over 25 years of food industry experience.
Foster has spent more than a decade working in the fresh-cut produce and fresh-prepared foods sectors. As noted in the company’s release, Foster gained his vast fresh product expertise from companies like Boskovich Farms and Taylor Farms.
The industry ace has also spent over two decades working in food safety and quality assurance.
According to a press release, Foster will utilize his extensive sales background and technical experience in food safety to support the company’s recently aligned Prepared division as it works to achieve growth in existing and new business channels.
