WATSONVILLE, CA - A new executive appointment was recently welcomed to the California Giant Berry Farms team of leaders in the form of Andrew “Andy” Rice. Rice will be joining the berry giant as its newest Vice President of Field Operations and Product Supply.
Rice built his career at industry-leading berry companies. He brings with him a proven track record of managing large-scale berry production. Most recently, Rice oversaw 4,000 acres of berry production and close to 5,000 seasonal and full-time employees in Central and Northern California.
In his new role, Rice will play a vital role in the California Giant field operations and growth throughout North America, South America, and Mexico. Rice will be reporting directly to President, Joe Barsi.
As noted in the release, Rice holds an MBA from California Polytechnic University and an undergraduate degree in Business Administration from the Arizona State University. He lives in Arroyo Grande, California, with his wife, Megan, and their four children.
