LOS ANGELES, CA - Hot Ones, but make it produce. This is what Progressive Produce set out to do when creating the Some Like It Hot web series. The host of the show, Senior Vice President of Sales Scott Leimkuhler, is teaming up with the Fresh Produce & Floral Council (FPFC) to talk about the upcoming 2023 FPFC Expo, Cultivating a Healthy Future.
"We're thrilled to collaborate with the FPFC to talk about their upcoming Expo," said Leimkuhler in a recent press release from Progressive Produce. "It's a great opportunity for people in the industry to come together and learn about the latest trends and innovations."
While celebrating its team with the Progressive Quarterly, the supplier’s Some Like It Hot series allows Leimkuhler and his teammates to get to know each other on a more personal level. Modeled after the popular web series Hot Ones, Leimkuhler asks his guests questions while trying different salsas or sauces with produce, the press release explained.
Following the internal success of Some Like It Hot, Progressive wanted to create more awareness in the industry with key figureheads like FPFC President Don Gann.
"We're excited to have Scott and the Progressive Produce team help us spread the word about our Expo," Gann said. "Their fun and engaging approach is a great way to get people excited about the event and the industry."
In the episode linked here, Leimkuhler interviews Gann about what attendees can expect at this year's expo and much more. While they chat, they try five increasingly hot salsas made by Progressive Produce Senior Marketing Coordinator Jaime Greger.
If you will be at the expo, be sure to visit Progressive at booth #314.
