WATSONVILLE, CA - New berry products may soon be funneled into the pipeline now that Driscoll’s has hired its newest leader. It was announced that Aaron Brookes has become the Senior Director of Product Leadership - New Products. He will work closely with Driscoll’s Product Marketing and Product Business Management, which develop strategies that meet consumer’s needs and manage new product segments in the go-to-market phase.
Brookes brings with him 20 years of experience in CPG and agriculture product development. He has led marketing and sales for names such as Nike, Giro, and del Cabo. Most recently he was the Director of Sales, Marketing, and Product Development at Jacobs Farm del Cabo.
In this new role, Brookes will coordinate the development, testing, deployment, and scaling of new berry segments that satisfy or surpass consumer desires and complement the berry product portfolio.
According to a press release, this role will function as the conduit between the berry business needs and consumer and customer desires by driving the development of new berry products.
