FOWLER, CA - Restaurant operators and foodies in our industry alike will be making their way to Monterey, California, from July 27–28 to see what growers and suppliers have in store for the foodservice sector. Bee Sweet Citrus is one producer making a splash at International Fresh Produce Association’s (IFPA) Foodservice Conference, for fresh is always on the menu.
“Bee Sweet Citrus is excited to meet with foodservice professionals again at this year’s conference,” Monique Mueller, Director of Communications, shares with me. “We will be showcasing our Mandarins, Star Ruby grapefruit, lemons, and Valencia oranges and discussing with attendees how we can best meet their needs.”
The grower will be hitting the show floor to showcase not only its range of services but also the efficiency of its operations. Last year, the company revealed the addition of its cutting-edge Mandarin facility, which sets the stage for a successful season.
“Our new facility has allowed our team to be more streamlined across the supply chain and will play a pivotal role in the success of our 2023–2024 season,” explains Monique. “We’re also excited to showcase our year-round citrus line, which is supplemented by our annual summer import program.”
Delicious produce makes for a strong consumer experience, and that particularly rings true in the restaurant or eatery setting. The summer season sets the perfect scene to showcase Mother Nature’s bounty, and foodservice operators have an even bigger incentive to incorporate more fresh offerings into their menus as their diners seek out more nutritious offerings.
“IFPA’s Foodservice show provides ample opportunities for growers to meet and connect with foodservice professionals. With a citrus line as diverse as ours, we’re confident that we can provide the foodservice industry with products to meet their needs,” noted Monique.
