Kroger Reports $115M in Savings for Boost by Kroger Plus Program; Stuart Aitken Shares

CINCINNATI, OH - $115 million. That's how much Boost by Kroger Plus saved its members in just the first year of the program. Now, the retailer is celebrating this anniversary and looking forward to growing the paid membership program in the year ahead.

In honor of its one-year anniversary, Kroger is giving 1,000 bonus Fuel Points to new members who enroll from July 19–August 8, in an effort to up its consumer base. According to a release, the program expands on savings available through the retailer's free loyalty program, which can save shoppers up to $1,000 per year on groceries, delivery fees, and fuel.

In the first year of the program, Boost by Kroger Plus saved its members a total of $115 million

One of the major benefits of the program is free delivery. Consumers can select memberships that provide free next-day delivery or delivery in as little as two hours on orders of $35 or more. The program also offers Boost Members Exclusives, which offer special savings on products.

Over the last year, Boost exceeded company expectations. The retailer experienced increased customer engagement across stores, e-commerce channels, and fuel centers.
