WOODLAND, CA - A new Territory Head for Syngenta® Vegetable Seeds has been announced, and Juan Pablo López is heeding the call. López will be crossing an ocean and multiple countries to take up his new post to be the new Territory Head Vegetable Seeds for the United States and Canada.
“This is a great opportunity, and I look forward to working with our Syngenta Vegetable Seeds teams and customers to continue advancing this important area of our business,” López commented, who joined Syngenta in 2007 as a Key Account Manager in Ecuador.
In this role, López will lead the vegetable business for the company, delivering short- and mid-term business targets while building an effective and sustainable long-term, end-to-end business. For nearly 17 years at Syngenta, he has contributed to the growth of the Americas, including Mexico and other Global agricultural sectors. As noted in the release, López will relocate from Switzerland to California to assume his new role.
López’s most recent position was Global Product Manager, Insect Control for Syngenta, where he was instrumental in driving the global strategy for the TYMIRIUM® technology, maximizing the product life cycle of Syngenta pyrethroids, and developing crossover initiatives with Biologicals and Seedcare.
This globetrotter holds two master's degrees from the European School of Business and two bachelor's degrees from Universidad San Francisco de Quito. He has held several marketing and commercial roles in Crop Protection, successfully creating a career with more than 20 years of experience in the agricultural sector.
