GUADALUPE, CA - Beachside Produce has added more experience, depth, and strong product knowledge with two recent additions to its staff.
In August, Derrick Stinnett joined as Manager of Business Development, bringing over 20 years of experience in agricultural sales and marketing. In this new role, Stinnett is dedicated to empowering both current and future clients with a modern approach to growth and strategy while also maintaining and nurturing vital relationships. For Stinnett, business development goes beyond just acquiring more customers; it’s about deeply understanding customer needs and offering value-focused solutions. He holds a master’s degree from Thunderbird School of Global Business Management.
“Derrick’s communication skills and understanding of customers’ needs position him perfectly for long-term success in this role,” shared Danny Fleming, Sales Manager. “We are confident in Derrick’s ability to put beneficial programs together for both our customers and growers.”
Joining in September, John Shaw is a member of Beachside’s Sales Team, and holds a bachelor’s degree in Agriculture Business Management from Chico State. Shaw brings over 14 years of experience in agriculture sales, with previous produce jobs including as a Commodity Manager and Sales Representative, managing multiple commodities in produce. Shaw will be managing Lettuce and Leaf Items at Beachside.
“John’s expansive industry experience has allowed him to step right into a key role in commodity and account management,” added Fleming. “We are fully confident that John can successfully lead us on commodities and add strength to our sales team and commodity programs.”
