SALINAS, CA - Employee longevity speaks volumes of a company. Tanimura & Antle welcomed 38 new employees toward an important milestone, remarking it now has 400 employees who have been with the company for over 20 years. Tanimura & Antle proudly announced the newest inductees to its prestigious 20 Year Club.
"Our 20 Year Club members have shown exceptional dedication and passion throughout their careers at Tanimura & Antle," said Nora Cortez, Chief Human Resources Officer. "Their loyalty is a key driver of our success, and we celebrate their achievements as we look forward to even greater accomplishments together."
These employees have shown unwavering dedication and commitment to excellence, embodying the core values that drive our company's success, a release shared. Their contributions have been integral to the company’s growth and continued innovation in the ag sector.
Here’s what some of the inductees had to say:
"When I first joined Tanimura & Antle, I never imagined I would stay at the same company for over 20 years, but the opportunities I've been given and the values this company upholds have made it feel like home," Patricia Rodriguez, VMI Account Manager shared. "I started in harvest, then moved to the cooler and eventually into sales. The Antle family has always supported my growth and I will always be grateful for that. The fact that many employees have been here for 30+ years speaks volumes about how welcomed and appreciated we feel throughout our careers."
"Harvesting for Tanimura & Antle for 20 years has been a journey filled with hard work and satisfaction. Every day in the field has taught me the value of teamwork and dedication," said Heriberto Lopez from the Iceberg Harvest Crew. "I take pride in the quality produce we provide and in being part of a company that has always valued its employees as an extension of the family."
In today's dynamic job market, long-term employee tenure is increasingly rare. According to the Bureau of Labor Statistics, the median tenure for workers in the United States is currently about 4.1 years. Surpassing this statistic, Tanimura & Antle truly showcases its commitment to employee satisfaction, development, and well-being.
At AndNowUKNow, we share the excitement of these inductees and celebrate this important milestone!

EAST COAST - As we continue to monitor active weather events in key ag areas, including storms on the East Coast, the Duda Farm Fresh Foods team recently reported that Tropical Storm Debby did not affect either of its South Florida or Georgia operations, but the company has its eye on the horizon for any natural challenges to come.
Following Debby was another disturbance in the tropical Atlantic, with a 50 percent chance of development. As we recently reported, Hurricane Ernesto made landfall in Puerto Rico with effects projected to reach the continental U.S. East Coast as well.
However, the company said several categories are still seeing additional volume.
“Radish harvest continues in Michigan. Current forecast is for additional volume for this week. Demand for radishes continues to be strong. Promotional and ad periods available in the 4-6 week outlook,” the company said in a report. “Warm weather continues to keep Michigan/Indiana corn ahead of schedule.”
Promotional volumes and opportunities are available through Labor Day offerings, with quality and taste remaining at peak. These are complemented too by the corn harvest in Georgia remaining steady.
Duda’s flagship offering, celery continues with planned volume out of Michigan with taste and appearance remaining very good and forecasted to continue that way until the season’s end in the first half of October.
As high-demand categories continue to keep us on our toes, AndNowUKnow will report the latest across the industry.
