CALIFORNIA - Every path Moonlight Companies pursues is intentional, strategic, and designed to matter. The company understands that consumers don’t just make purchasing decisions based on identity—they make them to express and shape it. That awareness drives a deeper level of authenticity, rooted in what it means to be human: to connect, to celebrate, and to create moments that become part of our everyday lives.
With its Red, Ripe, and Blue summer holiday campaign, Moonlight expands its creative strategy to tap into a shared sense of home, seasonality, and the uniquely American spirit of summer—all in support of its overall Moonlight Companies message and its To the Moon and Back program.
“This is a campaign that reflects not just where the fruit is grown, but how it fits into the lives of the people buying it,” Ben Vived, Chief Marketing Officer, shares. “Peaches are the quintessential American summer treat and a delicious impulse item with a powerful consumer draw.”
Summer has its symbols—and Moonlight is making the case that peaches belong at the center. With Red, Ripe, and Blue, the company leans into the season with a message that is both timely and memorable, aligning product with a cultural moment.
Built to support retail partners during peak summer demand, the campaign connects freshness, flavor, and familiarity in a way that resonates at the shelf. It’s not about replacing the brand—it’s about amplifying it. Because when the timing is right, the message carries further.
For Moonlight, summer isn’t just a season—it’s an opportunity to create relevance, drive engagement, and strengthen connections across the category.
FRESNO, CA - Trade shows bring the industry together, and one event we are looking forward to is the Organic Produce Summit (OPS) taking place in July. I had a chance to chat with Marsha Pozza, Director of Marketing and Communications at Volm Companies, to hear what we can expect at the company’s booth next month.
“Volm is excited to showcase our full range of packaging solutions, including our newest sustainable options. We're looking forward to sharing these innovative, eco-friendly products with those in the organics industry who are looking to make a change or align with current regulatory initiatives,” Marsha began telling me. “While we won’t have the space to exhibit packaging equipment, we have a library of videos available and would love to share our automation solutions with attendees.”
Volm’s hope is that those who are unaware of the company or what it does will get to know the team when visiting their OPS booth.
“We have a terrific crew who will be there, and they are very excited not only about the trade show but also about the other events taking place,” Marsha relayed. “I know Tom Kiss, Sales Account Manager, is thrilled to take part in the golf event, while Bre Steadman, Product Manager, is looking forward to the Women’s Networking event. I can assure you that, without asking them, they are most looking forward to the wine-tasting fundraiser.”
On a final note, Marsha shared some words of appreciation for the event hosts.
“I’d like to recognize New Hope Network and OPS for their contributions to the organic produce industry. This is the first year OPS has welcomed us as an allied service provider, and we are very grateful for the opportunity to network with attendees and fellow exhibitors. We feel very fortunate to work alongside great people who are doing such a wonderful job of promoting organic produce,” Marsha concluded.
As the industry prepares to take the OPS show floor, AndNowUKnow will continue to bring you exclusive event coverage.
OXNARD, CA - Mission Produce, Inc., a world leader in sourcing, producing, and distributing fresh Hass avocados, announced it has entered into a marketing and distribution agreement with Anthony Vineyards, the leader in fresh table grapes, dates, and mangoes in the Coachella Valley, to market organic Keitt mangos, a premium, limited-supply offering known for exceptional quality, flavor, and freshness.
“California-grown, organic mangos deliver clear value to shoppers while creating margin opportunity for retailers,” said Brooke Becker, Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing at Mission Produce, in the recent release. “Organics represent a fast-growing and increasingly important segment of the mango category, while locally grown fruit continues to resonate with shoppers seeking freshness and quality. By bringing those attributes together, this program gives our customers access to a highly differentiated, limited-supply offering that supports premium retail positioning.”
This year’s California Keitt mango season is expected to start in July and last through early September. Grown domestically and harvested close to market, the fruit does not require hot-water treatment and is delivered at peak maturity, resulting in strong color, rich flavor, and consistent quality.
“For generations, our family has focused on growing exceptional fruit in the Coachella Valley, and these mangos are a point of pride for our team,” said Anthony Bianco, Co-Owner, Anthony Vineyards. “Partnering with Mission allows us to bring Anthony’s Organic Mangos to a broader market while preserving the quality, care, and local heritage that define this program.”
In 2025, retail sales of organic mangos reached nearly 70 million pounds, with volume increasing 154% compared to 2020.1 Organic mangos now account for 16% of total mango volume—double the share organics represent across the total produce department.1
Consumer data further underscores the opportunity: nearly one in five mango shoppers actively seek local produce, a figure that rises to more than one in four among organic-focused shoppers.2
The partnership reinforces Mission’s commitment to driving growth in the mango category and builds on the Company's expertise in marketing and distributing premium fresh fruit across key markets.
Mission Produce is scheduled to attend the Organic Produce Summit from July 14-16, 2026, in Monterey, Calif. (booth #420). To schedule a meeting or learn more, contact [email protected].
