WOLCOTT, NY - Fowler Farms and SweeTango® Apples are joining the fight against the coronavirus pandemic by donating over 100,000 fresh apples to areas of need in the Northeast.

Austin Fowler, Vice President of Sales and Marketing, Fowler Farms“As farmers we are proud to be an essential part of the global economy. What better way to give back than to provide one of healthiest foods available to people who need it most,” said Austin Fowler, sixth-generation family member and Vice President of Sales and Marketing.

Of course, apples have their own disease fighting capabilities. In fact, apples contain quercetin which in addition to being a well-known antioxidant, is now being studied for its potential to disrupt viruses.
