BREA, CA – Continuing its dedication to real, premium ingredients, Marie’s Refrigerated Salad Dressings will showcase its product line with non-GMO oil at the Produce Manufacturers Association Fresh Summit (Booth #157) in New Orleans on October 19, 2017. The brand will also debut new, recyclable PET bottles and jars.

“Our decision to move to non-GMO oil demonstrates Marie’s ongoing commitment to exceeding people’s expectations for fresh-tasting dressing with real ingredients and no artificial preservatives,” said Ivonne Camacho, Marie’s brand manager.

Additionally, the upcoming introduction of new PET packaging has been well-received by Marie’s shoppers and consumers in the brand’s research studies. The new packaging is lighter weight, so it’s easier to carry and hold; however, the product volume, or net weight, remains the same. Consumers are pleased with the improved grip and durable package. Also, the new packaging has a similar look and clarity to glass; reinforcing the high-quality perception of the Marie’s line.

“The new PET packaging supports our corporate social responsibility commitment to protect and preserve the environment,” said Camacho. “PET is 100 percent recyclable and BPA-free. Additionally, PET’s lighter weight makes it easier to stack and ship, and more efficient to transport.”

Marie’s refrigerated salad dressings with non-GMO oil are already flowing through to retail outlets. The new packaging will begin flowing through in Spring 2018. Marie’s dressings can be found in the refrigerated produce section at retailers nationwide.
