Colombia Avocado Board was formed to educate consumers in the U.S. about Hass Avocados from Colombia, in cooperation with our retail partners. Combining diverse production regions, altitudes with nutrient-dense alluvial soils, and ample rainfall throughout the regions allows Colombia to produce Hass avocados with a creamy texture and rich flavor, virtually year-round. The short transit time to both U.S. coasts and two harvest seasons in Colombia make the Colombia avocado the perfect choice for U.S. consumers.
