Avocados from Mexico will be in plentiful supply this Winter with Mexico on schedule to ship over 680 million pounds of avocados into the U.S. during this 2011/2012 season. With avocado demand high, and new twists on the product’s use, the company is promoting the integration of the avocado into their marketing programs for retailers. Datamonitor reports more than 75 new products incorporating avocados have emerged in the past five years.
