Mexican avocados are projected to be dominate the US market from November to mid-Spring as California's avocado crop comes to a close. The Mexican avocado season has been a little rocky this year, due to a combination of light yields and excess supply of California fruit, but APEAM projects Mexican avocados will account for around a 55 percent share of the U.S. market from October to December, and will maintain good volume for the whole of 2011, according to their marketing director, Emiliano Escobedo.<hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="invisible minimal-padding"><hr class="invisible minimal-padding">
