<p><strong>Exeter, CA</strong><hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="invisible minimal-padding">Agriculture officials have recently reported an Asian citrus psyllid has been found in Tulare County.<hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="invisible minimal-padding">Joel Nelsen, President of California Citrus Mutual tells AndNowUKnow, the psyllid was found last week in a trap and much of what the company can do now, is to simply wait.<hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="invisible minimal-padding">“What we are doing is trying to identify suitable cleaning stations and make sure we will have the capability to clean the fruit before going into packing houses, if needed.”<hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="invisible minimal-padding">Tulare County must wait for governmental officials to finish a complete survey of the county to determine if any parts need to be quarantined.
