<p>After 32 years with Associated Citrus Packers and later the Limoneira Company, President and COO William E. Spencer II has announced his retirement from the companies. Spencer’s career in the industry began in 1981 with Associated Citrus Packers and spanned more than three decades of leadership in the citrus industry.</p><hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="invisible minimal-padding"><hr class="invisible minimal-padding"><p>“Bill’s great experience working with Pacific Fruit, the Lemon Administrative Committee and ultimately heading ACP made him a force in the citrus industry” says Alex Teague, Senior Vice President/COO of the Limoneira Company. “Bill has a great reputation domestically and internationally and everyone knows that he stands for high quality, impeccable service and ultimately what is best for the industry. He will be sorely missed.” </p><hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="invisible minimal-padding"><hr class="invisible minimal-padding"><p>With a lifetime of experience in citrus, Spencer began working with Associated Citrus Packers in 1981 as Packinghouse Manager and Director of Sales for the family-owned operation, before serving as company President and COO for the past 22 years. Bill and his family made the strategic decision to align with Limoneira Company in 2012.
