Over the past few months, Mexico has been exporting record volumes of avocados into the U.S. and expects to continue exporting high volumes of avocados through June and July. Avocados from Mexico is expecting a 20% increase in total volume shipped this season over last year. Fully integrated marketing efforts will help retailers, with TV and radio advertising in select markets during key time periods, national print ads, online advertising, consumer promotions, public relations outreach, social media engagement, and in-store merchandising. Eduardo Serena, APEAM Marketing Director, tells AndNowUKnow, “We are looking forward to the upcoming months, with plenty of fruit still available for retailers to promote and maximize sales.
