LOS ANGELES, CA – Vision Produce is adding to its reach and offering, having added three industry veterans to its sales and marketing team.
“In keeping with our mantra, 'Your Direct Link to the Grower,' we added programs on melons from Mexico a couple of years ago,” said Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing Donald Souther, according to a press release. “This winter season, we have additional growers from Mexico for Cants, Dews, and Watermelons, plus programs from Central America arriving to both East Coast and West Coast.”
To assist the company with such growth, it has welcomed Bob Valenzuela, Darrin Wadman, and Sergio Lozano.
“To assist us with Sales and Marketing, Vision Produce Company has added to our staff three industry veterans to strategically continue our growth in this category,” Souther said. He added that Valenzuela, Wadman, and Lozana bring many years of melon category experience to the team and will help link its growers to retail, foodservice, and wholesale accounts.
Vision stated that it will continue to expand on its “LaVision Brand” with direct grower sourcing.
