Borton Fruit is launching into its Tricities, Washington harvest with a few enhancements to its retail merchandising program. The company, which has begun harvesting varieties that include Honeycrisps, Galas, Granny Smiths, and Golden delicious apples, is offering customers a new display structure for catching the consumers' eye. The steel stand up display showcases the company's soft net mesh bags and totes that are tailored for each retailer's individual format. Eric Borton, VP of International Sales and Marketing, tells AndNowUKnow, "The season has had a fast start with warm weather maturing the fruit ahead of schedule.
