<p>Braga Fresh announced today that it has named Jayme Fields as CFO for the Braga family of companies.<hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="invisible minimal-padding"><hr class="invisible minimal-padding">"Our finance team has done a great job of positioning the organization for expansion, which we started last year. We brought Jayme on board to build upon our strong foundation and apply her substantial financial expertise, leadership and knowledge to improve and streamline our operations for continued growth," said Rod Braga, President and CEO of Braga Ranch and Braga Fresh Family Farms of Soledad.<hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="invisible minimal-padding"><hr class="invisible minimal-padding">Most recently, Fields served as CFO of 1st Capital Bank, where she was also a founding member of that institution. Prior to that, she was CFO at Bank of Salinas, according to a press release.<hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="invisible minimal-padding"><hr class="invisible minimal-padding">With a background in auditing and accounting, Fields is also a graduate of Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo with a degree in computer science and concentration in accounting.<hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="invisible minimal-padding"><hr class="invisible minimal-padding">She began working for Braga in January and says, "I am impressed by the great group of people with a long standing name for quality. I am excited about the growth potential of the companies as they build an expert team and as the market recognizes the value of their products."<hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="invisible minimal-padding"><hr class="invisible minimal-padding">Currently, Fields serves as treasurer of the Bay View Academy School board of directors and is a representative on the City of Monterey neighborhood improvement committee.
