California Sun Dry uses domestic grown tomatoes and the summer sun as part of the drying process…allowing intense and natural flavor to burst forth. The company just finished the drying and growing process of tomatoes and the weather has been favorable this year. President and CEO of California Sun Dry, Gary DeAtley says quote, "It usually takes 7-10 days to dry a complete batch of tomatoes and this year, due to the weather, we were able to shorten that by a day or two.” DeAtley also tells us the company will be introducing a new product at this year's PMA which promises to grow the category as explosively as their category leading oil and cello pack products.

Pandol Associates Marketing is developing a new market with its Sweet Babies brand grapes. Currently the fruit is in its peak for both quality and supply and will run through the next month. The green grapes are raised until they are extremely ripe, offering a very sweet fruit experience for grape lovers with a brix of between 20-22; where a typical grape variety may present levels of 16-18. The fruit comes in one and two pound clamshells. Owner, Jim Pandol, tells AndNowUKnow, "Kids are all about the flavor and parents are about the health and wellness of the snack and this item answers to both. “
