Chelan Fresh, Potandon Produce

Chelan Fresh has committed again this year to helping approximately<hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="invisible minimal-padding"><hr class="invisible minimal-padding">73,000 K-12 schools improve and expand their nutrition and physical<hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="invisible minimal-padding"><hr class="invisible minimal-padding">activity programs with the NFL’s Fuel Up to Play 60 program. The<hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="invisible minimal-padding"><hr class="invisible minimal-padding">program asks youths to fuel up with healthy food options that will<hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="invisible minimal-padding"><hr class="invisible minimal-padding">allow them to play for 60 minutes. The company hopes to add more fresh<hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="invisible minimal-padding"><hr class="invisible minimal-padding">produce commodities to the program this year. Other produce commodities are joining the effort. Rainier Fruit, Borton Fruit, First Fruits and the Northwest Pear Bureau are jumping on board. Other produce commodities are encouraged to get involved.<hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="invisible minimal-padding"><hr class="invisible minimal-padding">Potandon Produce is supporting a great cause again this October,<hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="invisible minimal-padding"><hr class="invisible minimal-padding">dressing up its Klondike Rose and Goldust potatoes in its popular pink<hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="invisible minimal-padding"><hr class="invisible minimal-padding">bags to support the National Breast Cancer Foundation. The company<hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="invisible minimal-padding"><hr class="invisible minimal-padding">will also be promoting ways to increase awareness on its Facebook and<hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="invisible minimal-padding"><hr class="invisible minimal-padding">Twitter accounts and will be hosting a new event to support the cause.<hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="invisible minimal-padding"><hr class="invisible minimal-padding">On the company's Pintrest page, Potandon will set up breast cancer<hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="invisible minimal-padding"><hr class="invisible minimal-padding">survivor and memorial walls.
