D’Arrigo Bros. is putting the finishing touches on its Iceless Broccoli Rabe. The new innovations has the ends trimmed, comes pre-washed and is ready to eat. The superfood contains anti-cancer pathogens and is packaged under the Andy Boy label in eight, 2 lb. bags with forty cases per pallet. The pink labeling is only part on the strong relationship that the company has had with the Breast Cancer Research Foundation since 1999. Business Development Manager, Matt Amaral, tells AndNowUKnow, "The product is unique in the sense that it is 100% useable and the fact that it is the first ever iceless, FULL-Length broccoli rabe offered."<hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="invisible minimal-padding">Nature Fresh Farms has donated 10,000 pounds of tomatoes and peppers to kick off the a new food rescue program called Plentiful Harvest launched in Windsor, Ontario. The program, rescues resources from places that include food processors, suppliers, and restaurants, to grocery stores, farmers, and greenhouse growers. Owner, Peter Quiring, tells AndNowUKnow, "Ninety per cent of what we donates can be sold, but we know it will make more of a difference to donate the produce and help someone else."<hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="invisible minimal-padding">
